In Norway comics were a lot more comon than in the UK, you could buy magazines such as Agent X9, Donald and Fantomet in your daily groserey staw. No matter what house hold you went to you would be guaranteed to find a comic. But when I came over Sand Man, Preacher, Hell Blazer, Transmetropolitan etc it was like entering the adult world. These were comics that avoided the expected and pushed boundaries.

We are in the age were everything is going online and everyone can publish their work, creating a flood of online comics with varying quality that are available to you. I think this is a good thing, even though it creates a jungle that is barley possible to navigate. To help you on your way to find the gems I wish to present to you six of my finds.

First of is Overgrowth created by Wolfire Games, a independent gaming company. Overgrowth features humanoid animals in a gritty world of violence.

Then we have One swoop Fell, also with humanoid animals, but this time they are sweet and cuddly, however very well written and illustrated.

Aardehn plays well with the good old fantasy genre. We follow a innocent(ish) girl who has a demon inside her. But my favorite character so far is the half beauty half monster Lady Skar.

The devil is always a fun character to play with especially his offspring. In Hell Hotel Satans spawn is the manger of a hotel and in Underling he is a 13 year old boy who messed up the apocalypse.

Last but not least their is Maya, we don't know much about this one yet, since it is pretty new. However the drawing is superb and the prologue is highly enticing.

That was the six, however I have previously mentioned www.nyc2123.com and www.gamer9.net, who are also worth a look.

Flying Saucers

The Fins are making a film called "Iron Sky" about Nazis building flying saucers. Which I have mentioned earlier in this blogg.

When researching for or upcoming Graphic novel I came across a video made by David Monaghan Production that suggests this is not just fiction. I'm not concerned if this is a box of lies or not, what it is, is entertaining and good source of information for the Graphic novel we are working on.

Other things that popped up in my internet research were Edward Bulwer-Lytton's The Coming Race, a story about god like humans living inside the earth called Vril-ya who will return and supplant us and bring about a formidable mutation in the elect of the human race.

The secret group Vril Gesellschaft and the medium Maria Orsic are said to have gained the planes for a inter-dimensional flight machine. Some places it is said that this communication came from the Aldebaran system in the Taurus Constellation whilst other internet sources sugest the Vril-ya's from Lytton's book. Another interesting snippet is the idea that the vril Gesellschaft used the symbol Black sun, a variation of the swastika.

General Dr Hans Kammler and his secret weapon Die Glocke that is suggested to be a anti gravity device or a stargate.

These are all elements that I think will be interesting to subvert and blend in to the story.

TG Love Hurts Valentines Ball

We are off to TG to night, I for one am very excited. Currently not able to do the work I should be doing... instead I'm writing this blogg...

Zenobia will be wearing her latex creation. I'm very proud of her. You have seen the Nun outfit in the previous post, but she also will be wearing a latex mask she has created. For now I shall share a picture from my mobile phone, but next week we will do a tiny photo shoot of the full outfit.

Their are several things in the pipe line that will be added to the web site.
